In light of

  • robocalls
  • vote fraud in the U.S.

the project for E-voting in Canada is in need of hard scrutiny.

I sent a follow-up to my Sept, 2011 email to Marc Mayrand, Chief Electoral Officer, because of grave concerns about electronic voting.   People in the U.S. have done an excellent job of documenting and videoing the “real world” of electronic voting machines.   (See under “Categories” in right-hand sidebar:  “Electronic Voting ” under “Democracy requirements”.)

NOTE:   Elections Canada replied to my first email about e-voting, click on:   2011-09-07  (4) E-voting:   Letter to Elections Canada and reply

BUT,  I don’t believe I ever received a reply to the follow-up, below.

The documentation of the problems and corruption are too compelling to be ignored.

SENT:  March 2012

TO:  Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Marc Mayrand

Email sent from Elections Canada webpage:  http://www.elections.ca/courEL.aspx?lang=e

CC:  Mr. Mario Lavoie, Assistant Director (Partnerships) of Alternative Voting Methods   infosvr  AT  elections.ca

Dear Chief Electoral Officer Mayrand,

RE:   ELECTRONIC VOTING

REQUEST UPDATE  on the current status of the project to conduct an electronic voting test-run in a byelection by 2013, as reported in 2009.

And response to TWO QUESTIONS:

1.         Is Elections Canada conducting the Alternative Voting Methods project on a “partnered” basis?   (reference job title, Assistant Director (Partnerships) of Alternative Voting Methods from email appended.)

2.         If “yes”,  what are the names of the companies with which Elections Canada is partnered?

Thank-you for your consideration,

Best wishes,

Sandra Finley

Quoting from “The Secret Histories, An Anthology” (2005)

“Florida is the only state that pays a private company that promises to provide lists for “cleansing” voter rolls.” In the 2000 election, 75,000 names were…knocked off the voter rolls. Jeb Bush was governor,,,
so…… his brother G.W. became president. Invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. followed. Cheney’s Halliburton, etc. became wealthier…
ChoicePoint.. compiled the list, and it has plans to expand their services…

    • RE: “The Secret Histories, An Anthology” (2005)
(things that have happened in history, but which have been kept secret).

Also in the Secret Histories (see http://sandrafinley.ca/?p=185) is a chapter regarding “IBM and the Holocaust”. Up until about the year 2000, historians and others could not figure out HOW the Nazis could so efficiently identify and round up people with any Jewish blood flowing in their veins. Journalist Edwin Black coordinated a large volunteer effort amongst Europeans, Americans, Israelis – – historians, museum curators, archivists, journalists, survivors of Nazi Europe – – that eventually included access to IBM company files. Through painstaking photocopying and cross-referencing of documents into piles (categories) on Black’s basement floor, the evidence was eventually pieced together. IBM had inspection-proof subsidiary companies in disguise in most European countries. They contracted to supply the census operations in those countries. Germany was the first and the largest. Thomas Watson, the President of IBM, was awarded the German Eagle by Hitler, in recognition of his service to the Nazis. It was through their census files that they were able to so efficiently identify Jewish people. When they later invaded other countries, beginning with Poland, there were census operations in those countries, under IBM subsidiaries, to provide immediate access to – – again, a census data base that generated lists of people with Jewish blood in their veins.

      • I keep shouting out: “That’s why Canadians have a Charter Right to Privacy of Personal Information! It is a Right that has been paid for, with blood and the lives of thousands of children.

It is NOT Governments who stand up and defend that Right. It is a Right that belongs to individual citizens. And it is ONLY citizens who will rise and fight to the death, to protect and keep that right.

It is at OUR peril, that we, through ignorance, laziness, or stupidity allow the Right to wither.
