(A bit about Shaq is an aid to understanding: Touted as the greatest basketball player ever. In his retirement with an estimated $400 million in the bank, the former L.A Lakers player officially joined the state’s (Florida’s) reserve police force and will work as a community officer with children.
He’s an amazing man. Some will know him for his rap music or film work. O’Neal has a Master of Business Administration from Barry University in Florida (2005) and later returned to do a doctorate degree in education (2012).
In 2016, he was sworn in as a sheriff’s deputy in Clayton County, Georgia. In 2019, O’Neal became an auxiliary deputy for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.)
