Cheney was furious and even more furious because the Police knew The Laws and would not remove the Protesters. It was very funny – I still chuckle more than a decade later!
As far as I know, Cheney never came back to Canada. Bush learned he, too, was on dangerous ground in Canada. Gail’s expertise in International Law, working with people in other countries helped arm people in more than just Canada. Bush cancelled out of an event to sell his memoirs in Geneva on Valentine’s Day, after Bush consulted with his lawyers to determine whether the Swiss Police COULD/WOULD actually arrest him if he set foot in Switzerland.
